Are you aware that one simple question could double your donation to Holy Cross parish without an addition cent out of your pocket?
You may be able to easily double any donation you make to Holy Cross with a simple question posed to your employer: Does our company match employee donations to non-profit organizations?
Asking this simple question, and then taking the time to set up the transaction can result in double the money for Holy Cross. The paperwork is often as simple as enrolling for health benefits or a flexible spending account. When asked, many employers will match employee donations to non-profit organizations. Many employers will not donate directly to a church, but they may donate directly to a school affiliated with the church. After signing up, you can write your check to Holy Cross School and the parish/school will receive a matching donation from your employer.
We have included a list of companies that we know have this policy in place but there may be many more that we are unaware of who are willing to support our cause. To begin the process, simply ask your Human Resource Department or benefits specialist.
We all know money is tight, and none of us want to see our parish and school suffer cutbacks and hardship. Money that comes from employer matching programs is free to you and hugely beneficial to the parish. Start the process today by simply asking your employer if they match funds, enroll, and tell friends, coworkers and the parish staff about the generosity of your employer.
