We
are the Roman Catholic Community of Holy Cross Parish, sharing
in God’s love, striving to exemplify Christ’s life through
our actions, and growing in our relationship with God by the Grace
of the Holy Spirit.
As a family of Christ we do this by:
† Celebrating the Eucharist and participating
in sacraments and prayer
† Evangelizing and living our faith daily
† Providing quality Catholic education to all
† Reaching out to others, especially those in need
† Reflecting unity in Christ by working together in all
parish organizations.
In all that
we do let us be inspired by Christ’s words, “Love one
another as I have loved you.”
Our
Ministries and Organizations
The call to serve our parish can take many
forms. From serving on a Parish committee to helping at the annual
festival fund raiser. Youth and young adult programs enable the
younger parishoners and other to meet, have fun and build a stronger
faith. Marriage Encounter, the Knights of Columbus and many other
organizations offer opportunities to gather in Christ's name and
make a difference in our community.

Generations
Of Faith
"Generations of Faith" is whole community catechesis!
It's an approach to religious education through which children, youth,
and adults are invited to participate in faith formation throughout
the year. The entire community thus becomes the focus of all we do
in catechesis. Catechesis is not just for children! It’s for
everyone. We place great emphasis on developing households of faith.
No matter how effective our experience of faith might be at the parish,
how we live that in our every day lives at home is really important!
"Generations of Faith" is an innovative approach to faith
formation that equips the parish to become a community of learning
by creating lifelong faith formation that is centered in the events
of church life, that embraces all ages and generations, and that promotes
faith growth at home, through parish preparation programs, and, most
importantly, through participation in church life. The "Question
of the Week" is for you to use as a faith sharing tool in your
home, your workplace, and throughout your week.
Use the links below for more information on the weekly theme, the
questions of the week, the Sunday readings, study questions, and personal
reflections. Disciples
